Originally from Switzerland, Prime is a DJ and producer now based in Amsterdam ,
Open and very curious about everything related to electronic music, he has spent the last two decades assimilating a multitude
genres and styles ranging from rap, rn'b to dancehall, afro,
trap, amapiano, house, drum & bass, uk garage, etc...

You will fnd it diffcult to defend a lack of diversity in his sets.
His peers and main inspirations such as: Dj Turne, A-Trak, Dj
Hamma, Kaytranada, David Rodigan or Jarreau Vandal
are just a few of the inspirations who made Prime the
"Tastemaker" he is today.
Although he remains humble and, whether big or small, he has always learned from each artist he has met during his career.
With over 20 years of crate digging and turntable dusting, Prime had the chance to take his music on a journey with him,
playing in venues such as 40/40 (NYC), Melkweg (Amsterdam),
(Arnheim) D! (Lausanne), The Box (Amsterdam), Ninkasi (Lyon), Halle
de la Villette (Paris)
festivals such as ADE, the Caribana or the Royal Arena in
Switzerland, but also more unusual places such as stadiums in Burkina Faso, on boats, or on
an ice rink in Switzerland opening for the French artist Booba.
Regularly locked up in his Amsterdam studio, creating new sounds and preparing his next tracks with international and local artists.
Having already a large catalog of productions to his credit
(Caballero JJ, Hayce Lemsi, Di-Meh, Matarr, etc... and incessant
projects in the pipelines,
