Michał Semków, known as dj Michu was born in 1973 in Wrocław in Poland.
He has two sons – Marcin(15) and Ziemowit(5).
Started as a dj in 1995 with industrial party then soon techno party as well in Club Podium
in Wrocław, then played in Club Rocker in Wrocław (1996) too. In 1997 Michu came
to Amsterdam and stayed till 2003. It was his great journey into decks and records.
First beats were techno and house and they still are quite big part of his sets.
But besides mentioned styles Michu likes to experiment a lot with different styles combination beginning from ambients, chillouts, hip-hop and trip-hop through breakbeat
into drum’n’bass and electro …
On the New Years Party 1999/2000 dj Michu played for the first in Kashmir Lounge –
- from 00:00 till 01:00 !!!, then four more times in the year 2000, after in 2001 he played
in Abraxas Coffeeshop, also in DJ’s Café.
Then in 2003 he was back to Poland till 2007. He played there few times – Big Open Air Snowboard Festival in Wrocław, Experimental Beats Mix in Międzygórze in Wilczy Dół, some parties for friends and sessions at home.
Then from 2009 back again in Kashmir Lounge in Amsterdam.
I find important and essential to create the right atmosphere filled with good vibration
and energy and to give my best for all of the listeners.
